The CI-203 Laser Leaf Area Meter is the most portable and easy-to-use instrument of its kind. This rugged instrument non-destructively measures leaf area, length, width, and perimeter, plus counts voids and calculates geometric shape factor and ratio. A leaf image is reconstructed from the scanner data, providing verification of the scan quality in the field.
The CI-203 can perform for hours at a time in the field, and data is easily transferred to a computer by SD card or USB connector.
