Detector & Performance
Radiation detection uses a 3 cm³ CsI(Tl) scintillator with SiPM readout, combining strong light output with a compact, rugged design. The SiPM supports a small, shock-tolerant detector for screening weak or shielded sources. The gamma energy range extends from 15 keV to 3 MeV.
Automatic calibration adjusts to the local background radiation level as inspectors move between screening locations. Minimum metal-detection distances in air range from 100 mm for a magnetic plate to 200 mm for a pistol or lead container.
