Micrometer Precision & Flexibility
With two micrometer heads, the applicator blade can be adjusted in 10 μm increments, covering a gap range from 0 to 8 mm. This replaces the need for multiple fixed-gap applicators, expanding your testing range with just one tool.

Gap sizes 0 – 8 mm, adjustable by 2 μm
Applicators are made of anodized aluminum and hardened treated steel, with an accuracy of ±2 μm.
Due to physical reasons, the maximum film thickness applied is not equal to the gap size. The deposited film thickness may vary from 40% to 80% of the gap size. Also note that the dry film thickness will be lower than wet thickness due to solvent or water evaporation.
