Versatile Baker Applicators for Consistent Film Application
From TQC Sheen, our specialist paint testing brand, this wide range of Baker (cylindrical) applicators is designed to ensure uniform film thickness and high reproducibility in coatings, paints, and liquids applied to flat surfaces.
Multiple Widths and Gap Sizes
Each applicator features four precisely defined gap sides and is available in widths of 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm with gap sizes ranging from 15 to 200 µm. Special versions are available for custom sizes and extended widths.

All applicators are made from high-grade stainless steel, with an accuracy of ± 2 µm.
** The VF1560 has the total width of the film + 2 × 10 mm feet.
Note: Due to physical reasons, actual film thickness may be 40–80% of the gap size depending on solvent or water evaporation.
