Description
Redox is the measure of oxidation-reduction potential (ORP).
The Senz Redox can be used in swimming pools or spas to measure the oxidizing power of the chlorine disinfection in pool water. This is an alternative to measuring chlorine with the chemical test kit. While Redox does not give a direct reading in ppm of chlorine but indicates the sufficiency of sanitizing power in mili-volts rather than ppm alone.
The benefits of drinking alkaline water have got more homes owning alkaline water machines. Redox is also a good indicator of good alkaline water where the more negative the ORP value, the more anti-oxidizing it is. Alkaline water generating machines require maintenance if the redox readings are below expectation. Therefore, having a Redox meter comes in handy for owners to monitor the efficiency of their machines.
