Film Thickness Gauge is a reliable film and foil thickness gauge ideal for measuring so-called “replica tapes” like Testex®, used mainly to measure the surface profile. It offers high precision measurements in the 0 to 1000 micron range with a resolution of 1 micron and an accuracy of ± 5 micron.
The large and clear display makes it easy to read the instrument under all conditions. Values can be displayed in either microns or inches. The gauge has a comfortable handle, for ease of use and to minimize the influence of the operator’s hand temperature on the precise measurements.
