The Casella Apex2 range of personal air sampling pumps delivers reliable medium-flow sampling for airborne particulates in occupational hygiene and environmental monitoring applications.
Optimised for operation around 2 L/min, the Apex2 combines outstanding back-pressure capability, stable flow control and long battery life to support accurate sampling across a wide range of filter media. Pressure and temperature compensation, low pulsation and automatic restart help maintain dependable performance throughout each sampling run.
Designed for wearer comfort, the Apex2 features a slim ergonomic body, secure belt clip and protective rubber boot. Its IP65-rated enclosure is suitable for demanding environments, while the smooth exterior allows for easier cleaning and decontamination.

Essential Personal Monitoring
The Casella Apex2 Standard is designed for routine personal exposure monitoring where dependable flow performance and straightforward operation are the main requirements.
It provides sampling flow rates up to 5 L/min, outstanding back-pressure capability and an intelligent battery indicator showing the estimated operating time remaining. Typical runtime exceeds 35 hours at 2 L/min when used with a representative filter.
The colour-coded display, four-button interface and single-button start make the pump easy to operate. A lockable keypad helps prevent accidental changes, while the integrated motion sensor helps confirm that the pump has been worn.

Connected Remote Monitoring
The Casella Apex2 Plus adds connectivity and timing functions for users who require easier remote supervision and data management.
In addition to the Standard model’s performance and safety features, the Plus includes Bluetooth connectivity, PC download, inlet-pressure sensing and run-duration timers.
Using the Casella Airwave app, users can monitor multiple pumps remotely and start or stop sampling from a compatible iOS or Android device without disturbing the wearer.

Advanced Data Logging
The Casella Apex2 Pro provides the most advanced monitoring and reporting capabilities within the Apex2 range.
It includes all Standard and Plus features, together with fully programmable timers and time-history logging of flow, motion and back pressure. These functions support more complex sampling programmes and provide a detailed record of each run.
Bluetooth connectivity and Airwave allow multiple pumps to be monitored and controlled remotely. Recorded data can also be downloaded for analysis, reporting and record keeping.
