Description

The future of soil surface measurement starts here

Get more out of your soil surface measurements with the CDX technology inside our SOLYX Go push-and-read sensor. With the push of a button, the SOLYX Go measures soil moisture, temperature, bulk electrical conductivity, and pore water electrical conductivity. Designed and proven through rigorous testing, the SOLYX Go provides accurate, repeatable measurements from device to device, season after season, year after year.

That means the SOLYX Go you unbox today will provide consistent measurement accuracy today, tomorrow, and years into the future, and those measurements will agree with any other SOLYX Go used on your site.

Data collection, simplified

Every measurement taken by the SOLYX Go is correlated with timestamps and GPS locations by the mobile device connected to the sensor. Review historical measurement data in ZENTRA Cloud to monitor the effectiveness of your irrigation strategy, or view a daily map of measurements to easily identify areas receiving too little—or too much—water.

Importing this data into a ZENTRA Cloud project allows you to access and visualise SOLYX Go data from any web-connected device. Share your data directly with clients, stakeholders, groundskeepers or other project team members through a link, or download it for further analysis using third-party software.

Easier EC mapping and spot-testing

Periodic pore water EC measurements can mean the difference between excessive salt buildup and timely soil flushing. The SOLYX Go lets you generate a complete map of soil moisture, bulk EC and pore water EC across the soil surface in the time it takes to walk your site. Perform quick spot-checks and compare current EC values with historical trends to better understand the conditions affecting your plants.

Keep the SOLYX Go with your regular site equipment and collect accurate, actionable information whenever you need it.

Remote sensing validation

Remote sensing methods, such as aerial or satellite soil moisture measurements, are often used for their speed and scale. The accuracy and ease of use of the SOLYX Go allow you to collect soil moisture, EC and temperature measurements at a greater resolution, helping you ground-truth and scale remotely sensed data.

Engineered for endurance

Whether you measure soil moisture a few times each season or every day of the year, the SOLYX Go is designed for long-term stability and reliability. Its aluminium body and retracting needles provide consistent soil-to-sensor contact for dependable measurements.

Robust stainless-steel needles and an epoxy-filled sensor resist corrosion and damage under demanding field conditions. The result is a durable push-and-read sensor that is ready whenever you need reliable site data.

Key features

  • Instant measurements help you collect data efficiently without waiting for sensor readings.
  • Measurement accuracy remains unaffected by soil salinity.
  • Consistent measurement-to-measurement and sensor-to-sensor accuracy throughout the life of the device.
  • Robust stainless-steel needles resist corrosion, bending and wear from regular field use.
  • Measurement data is automatically recorded and stored in ZENTRA Cloud for easy visualisation, management and sharing with administrators, grounds managers, clients and other stakeholders.
