The new TEMPOS is different. We’ve ripped up everything in our thermal properties analyzer and reinvented it from the ground up to give you higher accuracy in much less time, at a price you can afford. How? Accurate thermal properties measurements have always been about complex mathematics. Recent scientific breakthroughs in how these complex equations are solved have enabled not only higher accuracy, but also allowed us to calibrate using significantly improved data sets—making this instrument more accurate than any other in its class. Not only that, improved proprietary algorithms enable the TEMPOS to make these measurements with an incredible one-minute read time (versus the usual 10 to 15 min).

Thermal properties analyzer takes compliance to a whole new level
The ASTM 5334- and IEEE 442-compliant TEMPOS takes accurate readings of thermal conductivity, thermal resistivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat in many material types across multiple disciplines, from soil and concrete to insulation, food, plastics, lubricating oil, and even human tissue. The new TR-4 needle is designed specifically to be compliant with IEEE specifications. Each needle produces only a discrete amount of heat, virtually eliminating the moisture movement (or free convection in liquids) that could alter a reading. Short heating times mean you can use the TEMPOS thermal properties analyzer to measure frozen materials and even fluids. No other analyzer on the market can measure frozen or wet materials accurately.

Complex science in a simplified package
Backed by solid scientific theory and 15 years of research, the SC-1 is designed to provide you with a simple solution to a complex problem. By measuring vapor flux from the leaf through the stomates, it enables you to tell the difference between transpiring leaves and ones that have shut down. High-speed results, ease of use, and a low cost mean more measurements in less time without blowing your budget.

Not only can you make accurate leaf conductance measurements in only thirty seconds, but you can calibrate the SC-1 in just a few minutes. After calibrating, simply clip it on the leaves you are interested in and start measuring stomatal conductance.

The optimal method for measuring fractional PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) is with the LP-80 Ceptometer. It’s a highly accurate way to determine canopy growth and canopy light interception, along with calculating fractional interception and crop coefficient. Reliable results never get old
Backed by 35 years of research, the LP-80 is one of the most trusted and relied upon instruments among crop scientists, ecologists, and foresters for publishable data year after year. Why? It uses precise sun angle calculations to accurately and automatically calculate leaf area index (LAI) in real time, so you can be confident your data is right while in the field. And it includes external PAR sensor which can be used to make simultaneous above- and below-canopy PAR measurements as a reference for intercepted light in clear, partly cloudy, or even overcast sky conditions.

Unlike other sensors on the market which spec an unverifiable ±1.0% VWC accuracy, the TEROS 12 was rigorously tested by our soil physicists across a challenging range of soil types and EC levels so you can be confident in the accuracy of your data. Plus, TEROS sensor repeatability can be checked with an accuracy verification standard. No other soil moisture sensor has this ability. Just slide the verification clip onto a sensor and plug it into a logger. If it reads within the right range, your sensor is good to go.

Its 70-MHz frequency minimizes salinity and textural effects, making it accurate in most soil or soilless media.
